ABA GROUP RIDES ARE CANCELED

Hey ladies,

Since no one has showed up for the past 3 weeks of group rides, they will now be canceled!

Hopefully we can start something up next spring.

July 15th ride

Hey ladies,

the route for tomorrows group ride will be determined by who ever shows up.

The weather is looking great so hopefully we can get a big group out tomorrow!!!

Wednesday july 8th ride will be a GO

Hey Ladies,
the weather is not great however it is not looking terrible. Lets cross our fingers that it stops raining between now and 6pm.

Wednesday July 8th Ride

Hello ladies,

The weather for tomorrow night is not looking great however it is Calgary so hopefully things make a change for the better. Assuming weather cooperates we will ride out towards Cochrane and ride through some communities out there.

I will post by 430 tomorrow if the ride will run.

Wednesday july 1st ride CANCELED due to canada day holiday

June 24th Ride

Hey Ladies,

sorry for not posting earlier, the weather is looking great for this evenings ride. I have a family dinner to get to so I will lead the first hour of the ride then have to head back .

I was thinking of heading towards spring bank again. We will ride up edworthy and head out from there.

JULY 17TH RIDE- WEATHER

June 17th Route

The route for tomorrow will be the same as last week, we will head up to the top of edworthy hill, onto old banff coach road and then do a loop in springbank.

JUNE 17TH GROUP RIDE

Hey Ladies,
So next week I'm expecting a guy from the CCA (canada cycling association) to come and attend the womends only group ride. I would really appreciate if you could all show up, because they provide us with some funding so without their support it would be harder to get these type of group rides started.

Cyclo Bellas

Hi Ladies, I would like to invite you to check out our ladies only Road Club website at www.meetup.com/calgary-cyclo-bellas

On the site there are posted rides (called meetups) for different days. If you would like to attend, all you have to do is join the club and reply to the meetup. All abilities are welcome and the rides are no drop, though we may break into pace groups.

Also, note that there are 2 clinics being offered free of charge this year. A basic road clinic and a learn to crit clinic. These are run by Martha Handford a Level II NCCP coach, a general or race membership to the ABA is required for these clinics. If you don't have a membership and would like to find out how to get one, contact either Danielle or myself....Bobbi. Check out the website for dates and times.

June 10th Route

Hey Ladies,
I thought i would leave the route for today open! Feel free to post some thoughts and we can finalize tomorrow! Also depending on the turn out we may split into different groups.

June 3rd Route

Hey ladies, 

Here is the route for tonight:

We will leave the univeristy and head west on 32nd street

turn right on 49th street NW

left on 40th ave

right on 53rd street

left at varsity estates dr NW 

we will cut through the bus trap and end up on silver springs gate NW

right on silver springs blvd

From there we pick our way through scenic acres and tucscany and end up on the 1A going to cochrane.

we will either do an out and back or extend it and loop back through spring bank.
